Wausau police calls to bars for the month of November 2025
We think Wausau gets pretty interesting after dark. Here are the significant police calls to Wausau taverns for the last month, plus information about liquor licenses and other bar-related matters.
Pretty quiet month on this tavern report, other than a gun incident at Christine’s Bar. It appears Christine’s staff handled things well, as no one from the bar was cited and no demerit points were assessed. The Wausonian held off on this over the weekend to get ahold of the police report for more details, but was able to track it down in the court records instead.
Police on Nov. 21 received a tip that a 20-year-old man had a warrant out for his arrest and was hanging out at Christine’s Bar. According to police reports, officers were informed that the man also had a weapon in the waistband of his pants.
Records showed that he did in fact have a warrant for his arrest from Winnebago County. Around 9:30 pm that evening, they descended on the bar to apprehend him.
