I was starting to wonder if this was going to be another “yep, real estate around here is still skyrocketing” post.
After all, as we showed in our 2024 wrap-up Getting Real with Real Estate post, prices in Marathon County have been on a steady climb up, and have been outpacing wages.
But there does seem to be a little disparity when it comes to Wausau. While the market is still considered competitive, looking at the data it looks like fewer houses are selling above listing, or at least on average by not as much over listing as they had been.
We’ll dive into that and more as we look at the first quarter of 2025 for real estate.
