Police tavern calls for February 2026 in Wausau and beyond
Police got a call around 2 am on Feb. 2 that a woman named Jade was at the bar against her bond conditions, acting drunk and belligerent.
When police arrived at M&R Station, they searched the bar and learned that Jade had been present but had left. But, they told officers, she was still hanging around outside.
Once outside, police saw two women enter a grey Chrysler, one of whom matched the description of the woman they were looking for, and the officer stopped them.
The officer asked if either of them was the woman he was looking for, and both said no but then refused to show ID, police reports say. They said they were leaving, but the officer didn’t agree.
