Robert Schwei vs Winston Tucker
According to the lawsuit, Schwei met Tucker at a conference in 2022, and Tucker talked Schwei into joining his company. Schwei quit a job making $400,000 per year to take a role at the new company, making half that but with equity in the firm. Schwei left his job on April 9, 2023, but despite doing plenty of work for Tucker’s company, Low Tide LLC, Schwei claims he was never paid anything. He also says he incurred travel and other expenses that were never reimbursed. Schwei in his suit says he had to take out a home equity loan to cover his expenses in that time. According to the suit, Schwei and Tucker attempted to mediate the dispute but that ultimately failed. Schwei is seeking damages to be determined by the court.
