This is your chance to lend your voice to The Wausonian

Something a number of other Substack publications are offering are open threads. While I generally only allowed paid subscribers to comment on posts, for this post everyone can comment, and about anything you like.

This month’s prompt is the upcoming elections. Republican Cory Tomczyk at the candidate forum Monday at the WIPPS auditorium announced that he would represent the people who voted for him first and foremost. While many politicians probably feel this way or end up doing that in practice, they rarely say so out loud. What do you think?

Feel free to share your thoughts on this or anything else you care to talk about related to Wausau news this month. I will be selective in what I reply to because I need to be careful to maintain objectivity - I will correct facts or supply additional information but will be keeping any opinion to myself.
