The Wausau Tavern Report for December 2025
December’s Wausau Tavern Report has been another quiet month. No one was arrested, no bar received a demerit point and no bar failed an inspection. There were two liquor license extensions and one new application for a big project, signaling that it must be ready to open soon.
That doesn’t mean Wausau Police didn’t respond to any calls. Those calls include some trouble even on Christmas Day, a fight at a gentlemen’s club and people resting in some odd places.

Wausau Tavern Calls
Almost a fight: Police were called to Denmar at 11:42 pm on Christmas for a report of a fight from an anonymous caller. Police were able to locate some of the people involved, but found out it never materialized into anything too serious or physical. Police didn’t determine there was any other enforcement action they needed to take.
