UPDATE: Police Chief Matt Barnes responded to our inquiries and we updated the post with new information.
When police responded to Matt’s 101 Pub on Feb. 22, the situation was dire enough. They were called to the scene of a stabbing at the near west side pub at 10:42 pm on a Saturday.
What they found on his phone later led to even worse charges.
