A parish is suing the village of Kronenwetter over a zoning decision that would allow for non-metallic mining on a nearby property, in violation of village law.
St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish filed a lawsuit in May asking a court to review a decision by the village to approve a change in zoning that allows for the non-metallic mining use.
The rezoning was then approved in April.
But St. Therese of the Child Jesus had its own concerns, including how the zoning was approved. And now it is asking a court to review that decision.
