Joseph Tofferi ran a collectibles social media channel with his son and he wanted to buy some top-notch baseball cards for it.
He found five rare cards to buy online, and arranged with Steven Lyons to buy them. The costs for the five cards, which included a 1984 Michael Jordan card among other football, baseball and basketball cards, was $21,100.
But, Tofferi alleges in the lawsuit, that’s where the trouble began.
