Brian,

Do you know which Wisconsin State Statute Mayor Diny is alleged to have violated?

Charging decisions usually come after an investigation is concluded - if any charges are to be filed. The state DOJ hasn't really said much about the investigation and that's pretty typical of the agency. In fact, usually when the DOJ takes over an investigation that's a sign a reporter here isn't going to get much in the way of details until something is charged, in my experience.

Jeesh Brian you could at least attempt to appear non-partisan. You are ridiculous. Your bias is showing. This is not journalism it’s an opinion piece.

Ok, I've ignored your ridiculous comments for awhile but I'll bite. What's my opinion supposed to be? Do you have an actual argument? I haven't heard you make an actual argument yet, just baseless allegations. So go on. Make an argument.

Grow up Brian. As a journalist you’d think you could handle some criticism. Clearly you cannot. Jeesh, now I’m trolling? 🙄🙄🙄

On their way…I hope to get them to you this evening. Oh buddy, people have busy lives. Working fulltime and taking care of sick parents and the holidays..free time is precious but I’ll make some for you. I want you to have “concrete” examples of course.

What I find bizarre about this is that you have to make any time beyond what you've typed already. If you think I'm biased, you must have SOMETHING concrete in mind for you to believe that in the first place. I don't know why that would require some extensive fact-finding mission. Anyway, until I see something concrete that goes beyond basic trolling, I don't intend to respond to you anymore. This so far has been a giant waste of my rare time off.

I can supply you with examples if you’re truly confused by my comments. I’ll work on a summary of examples from your published articles tonight. We need unbiased journalism Brian…especially now. I was hoping you’d provide another resource for that for area residents. I did cancel my membership but I should be able to access your articles for a few days yet.

lol I'm not confused, I just subscribe to this radical notion that you should actually demonstrate and provide evidence for the claims you make. Otherwise those claims are pretty worthless and not worth responding to. But you responded to this particular article so you must have had something concrete when you wrote that. It shouldn't take some overnight session. But do as you wish.

Oh dang, I just saw this response…my argument is that you at least be upfront about your position but I think the fealty you consistently show to the rubes make your position abundantly clear. I get it, if your income relies on pandering to the “ol boyz” …you chose them. Bummer. I thought you were a journalist. My mistake.

Yep, just keep on making baseless accusations without any actual factual evidence to demonstrate your claims. "That which can be presented without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence."

IMO, the WiDOJ actions in this case were and are over-the-top inappropriate, unnecessary, and deliberately intended both to intimidate, and as payback for having the temerity to win an election. Since the box was locked (we're told by the clerk) no one's ballot was prevented or interfered with, and the ability to just pick up the box and move it speaks to the lack of its being secure. Mr. Diny is entirely correct in his assessment, and while his moving the box to a secure location may have been a stunt and a photo op, it made his point.

Can’t wait until he gets to make his point in federal court.
