It’s a Thanksgiving miracle - The Wausonian is now caught up on the Full Court Press feature. The Thanksgiving holiday gave us a nice excuse to catch up on this feature, and I’ve been making a habit any time I go to the courthouse to look up another case, I try to go through a few civil court cases so that I don’t have so much to do at once.

It might be a coincidence, but there are two unrelated cases this week against the owners of Abbotsford Health Care Center. All complaints are alleged until proven otherwise.

Marilyn Bender vs Bedrock HC WI (dba Abbotsford Health Care Center)

According to the complaint, a resident there named Martha Bender suffered a right scalp hematoma, a subarachnoid hemorrhage and death as a result of negligence at the Abbotsford Health Care Center. No further specifics about the allegations were provided in the suit. They are seeking damages under a wrongful death claim plus attorney costs.
