Election livestream tonight

Trying something new in covering the 2024 Spring Primary elections in Wausau

I’ve had this idea for a while, but now with a co-host I think it will actually work. Tonight I and Wausonian writer Devon Welsh will be hosting a livestream covering the 2024 Spring Primary in Wausau.

There are four races we’ll be covering, and talking about in depth: The mayoral primary, which is probably the main focus; a county board and a city council race, both of which are really only primaries in name since each had a candidate drop out after the ballots were printed; and the race in Kronenwetter where nine candidates will be narrowed down to six candidates who will appear on the April ballot.

We’ll talk about the events leading up to the races and cover the results as they appear in real time.

It’s something new we’re experimenting with so it’ll be interesting to see how it goes. Come join in the conversation, and feel free to ask questions!
