The Wausonian's Spring 2026 election guide
This post will be continuously updated with interview links and campaign finance data
Last cycle, the election pages were very spread out, as we published them when they came out.
So this time around I thought it would make sense to create a separate page as a one-stop shop for all the candidate elections. As we publish candidate previews, we will link them on this page (and link back to this page with previews.
Candidates with an (I) after their name indicates they are the incumbent, or in other words, the person currently holding that office.
Only two races that we’re tracking — Wausau City Council District 6 and the D.C. Everest School Board election — will have a spring primary on Feb. 17.
In the meantime, think of this as a living document that will be updated as more information comes in. I hope to link to campaign finance data when that is filed as well.
